The Pioneers have two home games coming up on Friday and Saturday night versus Lebanon Valley, a team that is improving and could give the Pioneers two tough games at the AUD. Both games start at 7pm.

The first time these two met this year was back on November 21st and the Pioneers escaped from Hershey with a 1-0 victory. Lebanon Valley's scoring is up and they have yet to give up at least ten goals this year which they have done on a regular basis in years' past.

"Two big games this weekend." Eric Peterson said. "We need to get the four points to stay in the playoff race."

The top five out of six teams make it to the ECAC West Playoffs. The Pioneers are in the fifth seed, three points behind Neumann for fourth, and five points ahead of the sixth seeded Lebanon Valley.

Coach Heenan believes that once the Pioneers get healthy, they can be a dangerous team. If the Pioneers make it to the playoffs, anything can happen. It's a one game elimination from that point on. The goal of the Pioneers is to win the ECAC West Tournament Championship for the first time in the history of the Program.

Can the Pioneers do it?

"Yeah, absolutely," Heenan said. "We are close to breaking it through."

Heenan feels that this team has had its chances during their games but they haven't been able to break one through and put one away. The Pioneers hope fortunes go their way in the future.

The players are confident they can turn it around.

"I think we could." Josh Schmitt said. "If we stay healthy and stick to the game-plan."

Just six regular season games left for the Pioneers with four out of the six being away from the AUD. Let the playoff drama begin.
