Men's Basketball Defeats Elmira

The UC Men's basketball team defeated Elmira 46-32 last Saturday afternoon. Pat Goodman and James Patterson had a combined total of 29 points. Pat Goodman led all scorers with 16 points.
The Victory over Elmira snaps a four game losing streak for the Pioneers. They are 2-7 in Empire 8 play and 7-11 overall.
The Pioneers started off the game by scoring the game's first twelve points and led 26-8 at halftime. Elmira outscored the Pioneers by four points in the second half but the Pioneers were never in any danger. Elmira has now lost six games in a row.
The Pioneer next game will be this Friday Night, an Empire 8 game at Stevens Institute of Technology. Tip-off is at 8 p.m.
