It has been an amazing, yet controversial first two weeks in the NFL season. 10 teams are 2-0 and 10 teams are 0-2. Some are surprises and some are disappointments.

There was plenty of controversy in week one at the Meadowlands. The Patriots coaching staff were video-taping defensive signals from the New York Jets. Their cameras focused on the play calls, and then checked out the scoreboard to determine what down it was and how many more yards to go. In that game, the Patriots dominated the Jets as new addition Randy Moss had a huge game. Bill Bellicheck was fined $50,000, while the franchise was fined $250,000. They have also lost draft picks.

Chad Pennington, quarterback for the Jets, was injured in week one. As he limped off the field, to prevent an injury timeout, the Jet fans cheered. But not because of his bravery. They cheered because he had a bad performance and they were glad he was out of the game. The Patriots are 2-0 while the Jets are 0-2.

The Giants are 0-2. Eli Manning is having a terrific start, but the team's defense has been horrible. They constantly leave guys open and can't get the big stop late in games. It may be due to lack of preseason work that they are getting off to a rough start.

The Eagles are another huge disappointment. Many picked them to be the Super Bowl Champs but they are also 0-2. Their offense has not been productive and there were many errors on the special teams in week one's loss against the Packers.

The Texans are considered a surprise team. They are 2-0. They crushed both Kansas City and Carolina. Some fans still claim that the Texans aren't real contenders, but only time will tell.

All three New York teams are 0-2. The Bill's play the Patriots in week three while the Jets host Miami. The Giants will play in D.C. against their rivals, the Washington Redskins. Will the New York teams be able to bounce back?
