The Utica College Pioneers women's hockey team overcame an inconsistent start to their season to beat Neumann 4-1 in the ECAC West quarterfinals on Monday, March 1 at the Utica Memorial Auditorium.
In the quarterfinal game, Neumann scored the first goal halfway through the first period.

When the Utica College Pioneers baseball team officially takes the field later this month, it will do so under the guidance of new Head Coach Andrew Weimer.
Weimer was hired in June and finished his professional playing career before coming to Utica College to coach.

Spring is almost here and the Utica College softball team is ranked seventh in the Empire 8 pre-season coaches poll released last Wednesday. Coaches Pat Mineo and Rinae Olsen, former softball player for UC, will lead the Pioneers into 2010 campaign. Utica College finished last season with an overall record of 16-22, including a 4-8 mark in conference play.
