The election of President Barack Obama last November and his inauguration in January undoubtedly marked a new chapter in American history and a new direction for our beloved nation. For the first time, our fellow citizens elected a minority president and demanded change in direction, a change in policy, and a change in attitude.

In Defense of The Caf

It is really easy to become pessimistic about school food, and the subject is always one of the hottest on campus at Utica College. Everyone has a say about what should be better about the Strebel Dining Commons, affectionately known as "The Caf." While there certainly are several improvements that can and should be made, there are also many positive things that get overlooked.

In light of the flu season and the recent Swine Flu epidemic, it is very important for all of us to keep our campus and ourselves as clean as possible. And when I say everyone I mean EVERYONE; students, professors, and especially the Utica College staff that works with our food services.
